Journal du Geek is a French webzine launched in 2004 by Anh Phan, a high‑tech enthusiast and Game One chronicler who originally created the site to share his passion for technology and pop culture. Over the years, it has grown into one of France’s most recognizable digital media brands dedicated to geek culture and innovation, covering everything from tech news to gaming, science, cinema, and lifestyle trends.

The platform expanded into a broader ecosystem known as the JDG Network, which includes sister sites like Journal du Gamer and organizes major community events such as Geek’s Live, an annual gathering at the Carreau du Temple in Paris that brings together fans, creators, and industry leaders. This expansion helped the brand become a central hub for French tech culture and a reference point for early adopters and pop‑culture enthusiasts.

In 2021, Journal du Geek entered a new chapter when it was acquired by the media company Keleops, strengthening its editorial resources and digital reach. Today, it continues to evolve as a leading French destination for high‑tech news and pop‑culture storytelling, blending fast‑paced reporting with accessible, community‑driven content.
