Zoë Schiffer is an American technology journalist and author, currently serving as Director of Business and Industry at WIRED. She is known for her sharp reporting on Silicon Valley labor movements, corporate culture, and the intersection of tech and society. Born in 1992 in Mission Canyon, California, she studied political science at UC Berkeley before earning a Master’s in journalism from Stanford. Her early career included work as a UX writer at Uber and freelance reporting for outlets like Vox and the San Francisco Chronicle.

Schiffer rose to prominence as a reporter at The Verge, where she investigated workplace conditions at major tech companies, including Apple and Away, leading to significant industry repercussions.
