Anastasia Kouvela is a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in London, where she plays a central role in the firm’s Operations and Consumer practices. She leads Consumer Products Operations and Climate initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa, focusing on large-scale transformations in the fast‑moving consumer goods sector. Since joining BCG in 2020, she has guided both corporate and private equity clients through complex shifts in supply chains, procurement, and sustainable operations.

Her work is particularly recognized in the fields of ESG and climate strategy, where she advises leadership teams on aligning ambition with execution and accelerating innovation toward net‑zero goals. She has co‑authored several BCG insights on operational resilience and the challenges of sustainability mobilization, emphasizing that tackling Scope 3 emissions is not only a climate imperative but also a strategic lever for long‑term value creation and cost reduction.

Before BCG, Kouvela built a strong foundation in consulting and academia, serving as a Principal at Kearney for more than six years and beginning her career as an Audit Associate at PwC. She holds a PhD and MSc in Operations Research from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a BA from the University of Piraeus. This academic depth shapes her analytical, data‑driven approach to solving logistical and manufacturing challenges for global brands.
