Chopbreak is a vibrant food community platform that celebrates culinary traditions and innovations. It features a variety of content, including recipes, food stories, and culinary tips. The platform is known for its engaging and informative posts, often highlighting traditional and contemporary dishes from around the world.

Chopbreak was founded by Rémi Chauveau, a Franco-Rwandan entrepreneur with a passion for culinary arts and cultural exchange. His vision for Chopbreak is to create a platform where food enthusiasts from around the world can share their culinary experiences, discover new recipes, and celebrate diverse food traditions.

Rémi's unique background and love for food have greatly influenced the content and community spirit of Chopbreak, making it a vibrant and inclusive space for all food lovers. Rémi has worked for Orange Swiss, which was rebranded as Salt under the ownership of Xavier Niel. He has also worked for Apple, Google, and Airbnb.

During his time at Airbnb, Rémi realized the immense potential of the emerging sharing economy. He saw how it could make services and products more accessible to a wider audience by leveraging underutilized resources. Rémi understood that this model could foster community building by connecting people with similar interests and needs, and provide economic opportunities by creating new income streams for individuals, such as home chefs earning money by selling homemade meals. He also recognized its ability to promote sustainability by reducing waste and encouraging the efficient use of resources, and facilitate cultural exchange by allowing people to experience and appreciate diverse cultures through food and other shared experiences. This realization led to the creation of Chopbreak, embodying these principles to revolutionize the food tech industry.

The logo of Chopbreak, designed as an orange, is inspired by Eliza Lovell Tibbets, known as the Mother of the Navel Orange. Eliza Tibbets was a suffragist, abolitionist, and spiritualist, and the mother of California's orange industry. Her values of innovation, community empowerment are integral to Chopbreak's mission and vision.

The name Chopbreak is a combination of "chop" (as in cutting food) and "break" (like breaking eggs). It also refers to chopsticks, reflecting Rémi's love for Chinese food.

Chopbreak aims to become a global AI-driven peer-to-peer (P2P) exchange platform for homemade meals that connects home chefs with users seeking homemade food, similar to Airbnb. It uses AI to match preferences, optimize deliveries, and ensure quality and safety. Chopbreak aims to foster community, support local economies, reduce food waste, and promote cultural exchange, making homemade food accessible and enjoyable worldwide. To sustain its operations and fund continuous improvements, Chopbreak will take a percentage of every food transaction made through the platform, ensuring fair earnings for home chefs while enhancing user experience.
