Christopher White is a science writer and naturalist with a diverse career. Early on, he worked as a staff biologist for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, focusing on maritime issues. He later served as Executive Director of the Mare Nostrum Foundation, an ocean policy organization based in Belgium. White has authored several books, including "The Melting World" and three works on the Chesapeake Bay, and has written articles for National Geographic and other magazines. He holds a degree in biology from Princeton University and has produced an award-winning television documentary series, "The Blue Revolution," which explores humanity's relationship with the sea. An avid mountaineer and diver, White's expeditions have taken him to various parts of the world, including the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and the Great Barrier Reef.
