Deborah Klein, MS, RD, PhD Candidate, is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Food Protection Manager, and Certified Health & Wellness Coach with over 25 years of experience in nutrition and dietary operations. As the VP of Nutrition & Food Services at Sun Mar Healthcare, she oversees dietary programs and Registered Dietitians across Southern and Northern California facilities.

She is the world’s first Livitician®, a term she coined as an alternative to “Dietitian,” promoting balanced nutrition and fitness without deprivation. Deborah earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics with a minor in Exercise Physiology from UC Davis and became a Registered Dietitian in Georgia. She then completed a Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition, focusing on Sports Nutrition, at Cal Poly Pomona, and is currently a PhD candidate at Saybrook University Graduate College of Mind-Body Medicine.

Recognized as "Young Dietitian of the Year" by the American Dietetic Association, she has served as President of the Los Angeles Dietetic Association and is the author of “The 200 SuperFoods That Will Save Your Life”, published by McGraw-Hill, Inc.
