Mark Manson was born on March 9, 1984, in Austin, Texas. He studied International Relations at Boston University, graduating in 2007. Manson began his career as a blogger in 2008, initially focusing on dating advice, and later expanded to general life advice. His blog "Post Masculine" evolved into markmanson.net in 2013. He is known for his blunt, humorous, and often profane writing style. Manson's first book, "Models: Attract Women Through Honesty," was published in 2011. His 2016 book, "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck," became a massive success, spending over 268 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List. He followed this with "Everything Is Fcked: A Book About Hope" in 2019 and co-authored "Will" with actor Will Smith in 2021. Manson is married to Fernanda Neute, and they live in Los Angeles. His work challenges traditional self-help advice, emphasizing the importance of finding meaningful struggles. His books have been translated into more than 65 languages, selling nearly 20 million copies worldwide. In 2023, a feature film about his life and ideas was released by Universal Pictures.
