Michelle P. Fulcher is an award-winning American journalist and producer known for her work with Colorado Public Radio (CPR). She joined CPR’s Colorado Matters team in 2007 after a distinguished newspaper career that included roles at The Denver Post, The Gazette, and Campus Press. Her reporting earned her a Pulitzer Prize, and she became known for her sharp political interviews and deeply human storytelling.

Fulcher holds a journalism degree from Arizona State University and also worked in communications at the University of Colorado Boulder. She retired from CPR News in January 2025, leaving behind a legacy of curiosity, compassion, and a knack for what she called “juicy, people-y” stories.
