But in news which is sure to delight chocolate lovers, Nestle has announced that the Caramac bar is making a comeback for a limited time only, with the company giving fans a chance to indulge in tasty treats once more.

The new range, which is enveloped in its distinctive orange and gold wrapper, includes the classic Caramac single bar, a convenient three-bar multipack and a sharing bag of Caramac buttons.

Shoppers will be able to find all of these in Iceland, Spar, and wholesale and convenience retailers nationwide.

However, the sweet treat's return is only for a short period of time, as Nestle has said Caramac will only be back on shelves while stocks last.

The company said it brought back the bar to show its commitment to fans who has called for the firm to revive the chocolate bar.

Lisa Butterworth, the chocolate classics brand manager for Nestle UK and Ireland, said: "The calls for the return of Caramac were heard loud and clear, and for this unique bar we wanted to create a special opportunity for fans to enjoy it once more."
