Paul Adams is a BBC correspondent specializing in world affairs, currently based in London. He has previously served as the BBC's Washington correspondent and has reported extensively on global conflicts, diplomacy, and defense.

Born in Lebanon in 1961, Adams grew up in the UK and studied English at the University of York. His journalism career began with freelance reporting in the U.S., followed by a role in the BBC Arabic service. Over the years, he has covered major events such as the Gulf War, conflicts in the former Yugoslavia, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
