Vicky Wong is a seasoned journalist and editor with over a decade of experience in broadcast, online, and print media across London and Hong Kong. She has a keen interest in covering breaking news events for both online platforms and radio broadcasts.

Vicky's career includes significant roles at Hong Kong's public broadcaster, RTHK, where she served as a web producer, reporter, news reader, presenter, and news-bulletin sub-editor. She was instrumental in producing and occasionally presenting the morning program "Hong Kong Today" and the evening news program "Newswrap."

Before her tenure at RTHK, Vicky was the associate editor for Coconuts Hong Kong, where she covered the 2019 anti-government protests and managed the site's news and lifestyle content. Her previous experience also includes roles at ATV World, CNN International, and Hong Kong Free Press.

Vicky has contributed to three documentaries about Hong Kong, including one on the 2014 Umbrella Movement protests for MSNBC, which won the grand student prize at the Human Rights Press Awards.

Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Vicky worked as a reporter for PoliticsHome in Westminster. She holds a Master of Journalism from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations from the University of Reading.

In her free time, Vicky enjoys reading, photography, listening to music, playing the piano, and engaging in knitting and crocheting.
